Chorus is happy to announce that Women of Global Mobility will be providing all of its members access to the Chorus innovative caregiving platform.

The agreement brings to fruition WoGM’s ongoing commitment to seek out new, innovative solutions that support its members will drive client success. “Our relationship with Chorus demonstrates our sincere desire to bring fresh ideas and solutions to women in the workforce,” said Christina Urrutia, President of Women for Global Mobility. “We see the Chorus caregiver solution as our opportunity to address one of the biggest challenges facing women today, caring for aging parents. Many of our members are struggling to balance career demands with their desire to support and care for  aging parents and disabled loved ones. We believe Chorus can have a significant positive impact on their lives and their families, helping to simplify and organize their support efforts at home. Chorus aligns perfectly with our desire to create a future where every woman can thrive, both personally and professionally.”

“With over 61% of family caregiving provided by women, half of which are employed, WoGM recognizes that it is time to level the playing field for women at work,” said Don Vetal, CEO of Chorus.  “Imagine having to choose between your career ambitions and the quality of life for your aging parents.”  According to the Center for American Progress, Women are 5 to 8 times more likely to experience the impact of caregiving on their careers than men.  According to AARP, 39% of family caregivers leave their jobs, ending their careers. The resulting personal financial impact can be devastating to families and to employers who now must find replacements for these mid career experienced employees. “Women and their employers are paying the price when it comes to caregiving. We are thrilled to be serving WoGM’s members and to contribute to their mission,” Vetal said. “They are very committed to helping their members and we look forward to making a difference in their lives”
